Shanghai, Dee. 24

'A merry crowd of Clarendonians and their guests were present at the wal. Christmas Tea Par Clarendon Residential Ctub esterday afternoon. Miss Georgina Fuller, who founded the Club five years ago, was busy greeting everyone, wishing them a Happy Christmas and se they had a cheery time.

"A real Christmas atmosphere was created by the red-berried holly, Silver bells, paper garlands and tall red candles alone, but in one corner stands one of the largest, if not the Tergest Christmas tree in Sha his tree is gaily decorated with coloured arnaments, wrapped gifts, Sliver tinsel and candles while at the foot of it lies imitation snow and a showman complete with pipe.

"The parly was quite formal affair but there was an air of festivity. from start to finish and one and alt ott happier—as they always do after 1 visit to the Clavendon when Miss Fuller is there to greet thers.
