Uzhorod, Oct.. 30.
With the formation of the Ruthenjan autonomous Government, great hopes have been born in the Ukrainian capital here.
The constitution of a nucleus government here is giving rise again to the hope that soon there will be a state to incorporate all the Ukrainians now living in Poland, Soviet Russia, Rumania and Czechoslovakia.
Immediately after the autonomous government here was established, a large number of Ukrainians living in the frontier regions of Poland crossed the border and offered their services.
The exodus was so great in certain villages that the mayors were forced to put up posters asking the people not to leave the country.
It is rumoured that Colonel Andrej Mylnik, one-time Chief of Staff in the 1919 "mirage" Ukrainian Republic who lived in Poland during the past eighteen years, has secretly departed for Berlin, London and Paris. It is said he aims to make contact with Ukrainians in these capitals and to sound out the three governments concerned.
