Royal Canadian Navy Doubles Personnel Seventy to Be Built in Dominion Ship-yards

SPECIAL TO THE "NCD

London, Feb. 2.

The Royal Canadian Navy has more than doubled its personnel since the war began, it is announced here, and expansion is still continuing.

Men from the shores and from the interior of Canada have joined up. Recruits from the Prairie provinces are now training alongside natives from the Atlantic seaboard and Brit ish Columbia.

Recruits from the depths of the interior, who have never before looked on salt waters, are being trained to serve in 70 vessels which will be constructed in Canadian ship-yards.—Reuter.
