Chinese guerillas and remnants of the 104th and 178th Divisions were scattered by Japanese detachments which launched a triangular mopping-up drive south of Siahsien in south-eastern Shansi, according to a field dispatch received here today, The Chinese were dispersed toward the east and left 50 dead, the message stated. The Japanese units carried out an encircling drive starting from Siahsien, Changtienchen and Ansi.
