Mr. Takao Saito, a leading member of the Minseito Party, told Mr. Magoichi Tawara, a whip of the party, that he would resign as a member of the House of Repre-Setatives, Mr. Saito, whose address in the Lower Chamber on February 2 attacking the Konoye statement, the China mittee to postpone action on his case until he announces his resignation. The committee was scheduled to have decided on his punishment on Saturday, and announce the decision to the Diet on Monday.
