An official communique issued last night after the second talk Signor Mussolini had with Herr von Ribbentrop says the talk was cordial and lasted an hour arid a half.

Conversation, it is stated, was concerned with the international situation, and "conducted in the spirit and framework of the pact of alliance and agreement existing between Italy and Germany." Count Galeazzo Ciano, Italian Foreign Minister, and Dr. Hans von Mackensen German Ambassador to Italy, were present during the discussion.
