Makimum sentences of six years' imprisonment were passed yesterday on à Germán and a Dutchmafi oh charges of espionage.
The German, named Dreves, was said to have been the chief editor of ihe West German Press Section, of Exsén. Dreves and the Dutchman, hamed Bakker are believed to have been agents of a big spy ring, the existence of which was discovered three weeks ago.
Their arrest followed seizure of a secret wireless transmitter opéráted from ah attic at Schiebroek, allegedly for transmission of code weather reports to Germany for use by Nazi airmen—Réuter, Prima ballerina Audrey King, the star of the forthcoming mew production of Lo Ballet Russe "Pavilion d'Armide" and "Scheherezade," at the Lyceum Theatre on April 4, 6 and 7.
