Chungking, Mar. 17, ported 16 be converging columns on Lingshan, north-cast of FYamehow, andi south-east of Nanning, according' to Chinese reports received. here.
Chinese mobile unit is reported to have been sent from Lingshan, to ject the highway between "Nanning fand the sea coast, and thus threaten {the Japanese rear, by cutting off supplies from reaching" Nanning.
Lingshan is in the south-west part the province of Kwangtung, near the "Kwangsi border, on the south bank of the Vu River. There are highways connecting Lingshan with Pinghai, and with Pakhoi on the sea jeoast, on the Nanning to Yamchow main' highway.
