Tokyo, Mar. 30.
In connection with the expulsion from the Diet of Mr. Takao Saito, veteran Minseito member for Kobe, for his speech criticizing the Konoye Statement, a member of the Lower House asked the Premier what his opinion was regarding the incident.
Admiral Yonai replied that the affair had put the Government to much trouble. He thought, however, it had resulted in a renewal of the determination of the nation to over come all difficulties in the way of achieving Japan's objectives in the China Incident.
The Prime Minister added that henceforth stricter control will be exercised over speeches and actions that might hamper disposal of the China Incident.—Reuter.
