Rome, Feb. 7.
Every effort was made by the press this morning to minimize the value! of Mr. Neville Chamberlain's declaration in the House of Commons yesterday of mutual military aid between France and Britain in thi event of war involving the two countries.
Tt was alleged that Mr. Chamber-Jain's declaration was made in answer to constant French pressure and goes ho farther than his earlier statements. Much play was also made by the press of the fact that the British Prime Minister referred to war involving both nations, and not merely war.
