Lord Winterton, Chairman of the Evinn Refugee Committee, in a speech at Bristol yesterday, described the German Government's latest Proposals for the migration of non-Aryans as a "big step" towards the Committee's goal.
These, he said, should result fan orderly migration of refugees from Germany over a period of five years, and the amelioration, mean= while, of the lot of Jews, and other non-Aryans. in Germany.
Claiming that British trade had benefitted from the admission refugees inia' the country, Lord Winterton said that new businesses had been created in special areas, and new processes " of manufacture introduced by refugees.
