'A. Chungking report published by the "China Evening News" last night indicated that Chinese troops and guerillas on the eastern front in the Chekiang-Kiangsu areas have received counter offensive orders commencing, on Nov. 20. It is claimed that Chapoo, 8 Chekiang coastal' district where Japanese landed more than two years ago to encircle Shanghai, has been retaken together with another district nearby.
The report further states that Pinghu and Kashing are being surrounded by Chinese forees and that the main body of Chinese forces is pushing towards Kinshan and Sung-Kiang threatening the position Shanghai.
