Some sharp burst of firing during yesterday afternoon caused a rumour to spread that guerillas had attacked the "Reformed Government" troops in that neighbourhood, but no conformation could be obtained. It was learned from countryfolk, however, that the guerillas had declared that they intended to wipe out all these troops, which report caused a geneřal-exodus from villages and farms in the district.
