Slightly higher prices for silver were fixed in London today, with quotations being as follows:—

British steamer Rubislaw (1023 tons) were lost, and four saved, when the Thirteen members of the crew
struck a mine and sank off the southeast coast of England yesterday. The survivors were picked up by a mine-sweeper and taken to hospital.
