The United States, national defence budget will be divided in two to differentiate between ordinary expenditure and that incurred as a result of the European War and the neutrality programme, President Roosvelt announced today.
It was reported here that the President intends to discuss with the competent quarters possible postponement by six weeks of the Democrat National Convention next year, when the party is to nominate its presidential candidate, The Convention usually is held in June.—Havas.
