Argentine Threat to Resign

Geneva, Dec. 10, Argentina informed League officials that she will threaten to resign tomorrow unless Russia is expelled from the League, it was authoritatively learned.

"The decision to deliver the Finnish appeal to the Council over-ruled the position of M. Viacheslav Molotov, Soviet Foreign Commissar, that the Finnish delegate, M. Rudolf Holsti, was not entitled to speak in the name ihe' Finnish people. The" Soviet apparently boycotted the Council's session, as the Russian sub-secretary of the League did not attend.

Argentina wil demand the right to speak first at tomorrow's Assembly as sponsor of the movement to expel the Soviet from the League, it was said. Meanwhile, the Argentine delcgates were attempting to form a united front among the Latin Amerieans. It was understood that Mexico has assured Argentina that she will join the bloc.

The British and French delegations met privately yesterday to determine their final attitude toward Russian expulsion.—United Press.
