There is a women's section of the Air Transport Auxiliary which ferries aircraft from the manufacturer to air force stations. Women are serving in Government departments in a very large number of capacities.
A great effort is being made to recruit leaders for girls clubs, Girl Guide companies, etc. in order to secure the welfare of girls, particularly those who are just entering industry. This work is being ce-ordinated under the Notional Youth Committee and particularly under the girls' group of the Standing Conference of National and Juvenile Organizations.
