General Ismet Monu, President of Turkey. has replied to Chancellor Adolf Hitler's message of last week, it was reliably learned here yesterday.
Chancellor Hitler's message was brought to Ankara last week by the German Ambassador to Turkey. Although its contents were not reveal. ed, authoritative German and Turkish sources implied it Chancellor Hitler had assured Gen. Monu Germany did not have aggressive intentions toward Turkey.
Reliable sources here said that practically all British troops which landed in Greece disembarked at Piraeus and were transported to Salonika and elsewhere by railroad.—United Press. E
