Bus Race Broadcast

Ann now I am taking you over to my broadcast of the Central London Rush Hour Omnibus Race, "Well, here we are in the queue. We have a few seconds to spare, so TIl introduce you to Miss Doris, yesterday's winner. She's standing here, absolutely champing—ell, Miss Doris, feeling fit?"

"Ever so, thanks, "And to what do you attribute ur success in always getting on the first bus?'

"Oh, I don't know. I'm just a home girl, I suppose, who tries to tolerate her mother.

"You mean emulate,' don't you, Miss Doris?"

"Why, of course! How silly!"

"Heh! Heh!

"Well....By Jove, though, here's the bus! Doris has gone! Ears back, eyes flashing! It's a ding-dong fight! Someone's trying to get off! He's down! So's the conductor Attagirl, Doris! She's on! No, she bounces off a large lady with parcels! She's off! She's on! Ah, she's off! And the bus has gone!

"Too bad, Miss Doris, better luck to-morrow. Would you like to say anything now?"

"Td like to say a lot!"

"Heh! Heh! Heh!"
