Calcutta, May 1.
Rajendra Prasad newly-elected President of the Congress, told the Congress Committee today that the New High Command would be composed entirely of Right-Wing men, excluding Pandit Nehru and Mr. Bose. who had declined the invitation.
The Committee then unanimously passed the resolution moved by Bandi Nehru that the National Congress was determined to oppose all attempts to use Indian resources in the event of war without the consent of the Indian people.
Further disturbances occurred outside the marquee where the Committee was sitting. Congress volunteers were stoned and pelted with brickbats by a crowd and some were me jured.—Reuter.
