With regard to Capital Expenditure, the following amounts were spent during the year: reconstruction of, and additions to the factory F1.2,293.98, equal to $5,734.95; Buildings, Plant and Machinery ' F.355—equal to $897.50; Light Railway (not completed) Fl3,800.00 equal to $9,516.50.
As I informed you last year, transportation to and from our Tamaram Division has been frequently intercupted by floods, and it"was decided i0 build a light railway for the pur-20se of facilitating transportation rom that Division. This railway is Expected to be completed during the present financial year, and besides mproving communications will de-"tease the cost of transportation.
