"The Polish campaign completed that work of liberation. The State that was guaranteed by Britain was effaced from the map of Europe in the space of eighteen days. This first act ended, the second is now beginning."
Herr Hitler then again bitterly denounced Britain and British war tactics. Referring to the blockade, ne alleged that "Britain always wages war against women and children. It was Britain who invented concentration camps.
"But we are prepared," he stated. "I can give the German people the assurance tahr we have done more in the last five months than in the whole seven years of our reign."
The British Broadcasting Corporation was next to receive Herr Hitler's violent attention. "Enemy propaganda does nothing but give me confidence," he said. "For it is the same propaganda, in the same words and carried on by the same men which forecast the crumbling of our party. Yet now the German Army is the first in the world. The German people ix united. Enemy propaganda will not destroy this unity."
Herr Hitler went on to address a few words directly to the French Premier, M. Edouard Daladier, who only yesterday delivered a radio address dealing with German methods of domination and enslavement in Austria, Bohemia and Moravia and Poland.
