An armed robber way arrested last night at 880 on Avenue Edward Vit while trying to escape from the scene for a crime, in which he and two others participated, which netted $1370 in cash. The robbery took place of 1337/18 Avenue Edward VII, when the gang, one of whom was armed, entered the premises and inlimidsted the occupants, making off with their spoil towards the Bund. An alarm was raised and ae. P.C. ran afler one of the men, capturing him without a struggle. ith regard to fuel supplies and appeals to consumers of all classes to make every possible effort to restrict consumption, failing which drastic compulsory' restriction smart bbe inevitable."
