Hungjao Club's Annual Dinner Bogey Pool Major Marsh's 71 Great Performance

In going round in 71 and finishing "all square" with bogey, Major Marsh put up a great performance on Sunday as conditions were far from easy. There was a strong cross wind throughout the forenoon When the competition took place and the course was at its longest with the pins in the most difficult places, Added to this the dry conditions of the greens called for great delicacy in approach play, As can be judged from the other scores given above, conditions must indeed have been dificult and Ricketts who rarely fails to show to advantage in the card and pencil game did not make a return, At the conclusion of the competition, Mr, F. S. Gibbings the new Captain, before a large turn-out of members, drove himself in with a fine tee shot down the first fair the caddie who retrieved the being awarded with a $10-note, Results of Day's Play Name Major J.
