Washington, May 1, Dr. Quo Tai-chi, newly appointed Chinese Foreign' Minister, was honoured at one of the largest receptions ever held in the Chinese Embassy yesterday afternoon after he had spent-the morning conferring with U.S. Cabinet leaders.
Dr. Hu Shih, Chinese Ambassador here gave the reception, An inter-rational group of 600 prominent persons met Dr, Quo, who has been promoted to Foreign Minister after nine years in London as Ambassador to the Court of St. James, Fifty persons made a special trip from New Yorx for the occasion, Dr. Quo met and talked with numerous high ranking officials, including Cabinet members, Senators, Congressmen, members of the foreign diplomatic corps, business and society leaders, newspaper editors and publishers,
