Yarmouth, N.S., May 12

Three United States coast guard cutters and a coast guard plane today were searching for 38 living men and one dead man adrift in small dories in the open Atlantic as a result of the sinking of the fishing schooners Isabelle Parker and Edith C. Rose.

The fishing schooners went down 150 miles north-east of Boston og Wednesday. The men in the dories were reported to have very meagre supplies of water and food.—United (All subject to a special discount 30%)
