The Voluntary Fund More Effort Wanted

To the Editor of the "Nortu-Cumva DAILY News"

Sm,—If the initial £50,000 goal which the Voluntary War Contribution Fund hope to send to the Mother country, as well as the £5,000 monthly contribution is to be maintained, it seems to me that much more wholehearted support is necessary from this British community of oürs.

It certainly seems that regardless of the size of a Briton's monthly earnings he (or she) could spare at and while they might feel]

sum is too small to contribute, nevertheless it should be impressed upon them that no contribution is too small and will all help to assist in an ultimate victory for the British.

It is suggested that those whose salaries are in sterling and who are reáping the benefit of present exchange should dig down deep and give generously to the Voluntary War Contribution Fund and thus ast in purchasing those aeroplanes which our men so urgently need.

We Britons out here should make slogan "Give Till It Hurts" and follow that out in practice.
