Popular with guests of the Bolero Night Club is charming and talented Tamara, who sings with the Charles Albert band. Miss Tamara has a wide repertoire and cheerfully sings new or old songs requested by patrons. The personnel of the orchestra includes Ernest Schlittner, Freddie Loewy and Jack Reiss. The cocktail bar of the Bolero is separate from the service bar and has an even dozen English-speaking hostesses who are permitted to dance with guests.
Swelling an already excellent cast, Binnie Barnes and Katherine Alexander go into "Angels With Broken Wings" Republic's new musical comedy with a Broadway background. Leni Lynn. Marilyn Hare. Jane Frazee, Lois Ranson, Mary Lee. Billy Gilbert, Gilbert Roland, and Leo Gorcey had previously been set. Leading male role is the only one not yet filled. Miss Alexander will be seen as the mother of the girls while Miss Barnes is to turn in another of her specialties—as the villainess.
