Parade in Free City

Danzig, June 18.

"Culture Week" in Danzig was brought to an end this afternoon when the Hitler Youth organization held a parade on Longer Market.

It was noted that contrary to previous announcements, Dr. Joseph Goebbels, Reich's Propaganda Minister, failed to make a speech.

Speeches were made by Herr Goepfert, chief of the Hitler Youth group here, and by Herr Huth, Vice-President of the Senate.

The former said that no one could surpass Danzig's youth in devotion to the Fuehrer and the German nation. Herr Huth's address centred about "the sacred nature of the fight carried on by Danzig for her German liberty."—Havas.
