Three persons lost their lives, one man of 36 and one of 25, and one woman of 22, a5 a result of burns received in a fire at 235 Yenping Road on August 14, The three were engaged in the manufacture of Anger nail polish, presumably from serap celluloid with amyl acetate as a solvent, The premises being used for the process consisted of a single downstairs back room of a school.
