Decision has been reached among the leading oMcials of the Mitsui Bussan Kaisha and the Mitsui Gomei Kaisha for a merger of these—two famous business firms from September 1, it was revealed here this atter-
Preparations are in progress for! the completion of all necessary mea: sures to effect a merger on September 1, it was stated.
The new organization, it was reveal ed, will operate under the name of Mitsui Bussan Kaisha. However, three sections of the Mitsui Gomel Kaisha, one dealing with philanthropic donations, one dealing with public welfare, and another controlling high-will remain apart will function as a separate entity under the direction of Mr. Takayuki Mitsu.
Mr, Tadaharu Mukai, director of the Original Mite! Bussan Kaisha, it was revealed, will head the new organiza tion—Domei.
