The tennis encounter between Yugoslavia and Germany which began here yesterday to decide the final round in the European Zone of the Davis Cup tournament, brought Yugo-"slavia the frst point when before 6,000 spectators Yugoslavia's No. 1 player Puncec beat Rolf Goepfert, Germany, in three straight sets, the score being 6-3, 6-1, 6-0. The young German player who had been selected to contest the opening singles in place of Roderich Menzel who will appear in the doubles today, was no match ior the Yugoslavian champion.—Trans-Ocean.
