The British Admiralty reports an Outbreak of fire aboard the training ship Caledonia, formerly the 56,000- ton Cunard-White Star liner Majestic.
The Caledonia was beached recently for extensive alterations, and it is Officially stated that the fre was in no "way due to enemy action. The outbreak is now under control.
The Caledonia is the largest vessel in the Royal Navy. Before being named the Majestic, she was the Ger-Than vessel Bismarck, abi was handed over to Great Britain.by Germany after the Great War.—Reuter.
