Arrests in Prague

Prague, Oct. 29.

Fifteen Czechs were arrested yesterday during an orderly demonstration commemorating the anniversary the independence of Czechoslovakia. Large TS of appeared on the streets wearing black ties and the Czechs colours in their button holes. A few shouted insults at German uniformed soldiers and cried "Hell Benes" and were arrested by the Czech police and gendarme police.

Wenceslaua Square was closed in the afternoon and again yesterday evening, presumably to prevent crowds from gathering. No riots were reported, as the demonstration was in the nature of individual action rather than a mass protest.—United Press,
