Appeal to Psychologists To the Editor of the "NomrH-CHiwA Dany News"

Sm—There has been a decided coolness between my wife and myself since our visit to the Cathay Theatre on Thursday night to see "The Old Maid."

As we left the theatre, I happened to make the entirely innocent remark that the character played by Miriam Hopkins had been much more forbearing than most women would have been—to be met with an indignant snort and the rejoinder that that was just like a man. A life of self-Sacrifice such as the Old Maid had lived was the last thing on earth I would be likely to appreciate!

I am not going to bore your readers with the pros and cons of wrangle, but I have been so struck by the utter divergence of what my wife calls the masculine and feminine points of view, that I am writing to ask some psychologist among your readers to tell me whether my better halfs expression as to "points of view" in this case is a correct one, or whether it is just a question of our own individual sympathies.
