With the closing of the polo ground in the Race Course for the season the Hungjao Polo Club will now swing into action and yesterday afternoon several friendly matches were played. Players who have mot yet signified their intention to play in the Hungjao ground should communicate with the Honorary Field Secretary the Hungjao Polo Club, Mr. N. I. Krikoriantz who will make all the necessary arrangements. It is advisable for players to telephone to him before going down as it would be a pity for anyone to go all the way and not be able to play, or have only a few chukkers.
There are four tournaments to be played at Hungjao and the first of them will be getting under way very shortly. There are the Cathay Cup, the Silver Pheasant Cup, Reinforcement Cup and Stent Cup yet to be played.
