The Secretary of State, Mr. Cordell Hull conferred with Lord Lothian. the British Ambassador to Washi ion, yesterday and following the i terview said he understood that Brit. ain would reply immediately to the American republics' protest regarding her alleged violation of the Pan-American "safety zone".
Mr. Hull, however, denied that the violation of the "safety zone" had been discussed. He revealed that the United States has not yet received 2 reply from Britain regarding the United States protest of the British blockade of German exports—United Press,
