Big Game of The Day

The highlight of the day comes in the second game when America opposes the British Empire. This game will see the best British and American softball players in Shanghai in action and should prove the most exciting contest as yet staged in this city, with the edge slightly in favour of the Yankees.

Mr. A. H. George, the British Consul-General, under whose patronage the gala exhibition is being held, will commence the match by throwing the first ball.

Two Marines have been invited to act as umpires in both games, and the winning team in the British Empire-America contest will be presented with a large silver cup, which will be donated by a local softball enthusiast.
