Italy Ready to Help Hungary

Military Aid on Hand in Case of Red Aggression

London, Jan. 11.

Italy has agreed to send military aid to' Hungary in the event of her being threatened by a Soviet invasion, according to a Rome radio broadcast to New York picked up here.

Hungary, it adds, has agreed to shelve, for the present, her claims on Transylvania in view of the more immediate concern of the Bolshevik menace, but this menace is not acute as long as Finland holds out.

Transylvania was a former principality of Hungary, and passed to Rumania after the Great War—Reuter.
