Campaign Drawn

Wardha, Oct, 14.

Mr. Gandhi is understood to be preparing for early publication a Statement designed to explain the reasons why he decided to clash with the authorities at a moment when Britain was engaged in a life and death struggle:

Tt is understood here that the campaign about to be launched will be limited in scope and that Mr. Gandhi has explicitly excluded from the list of participants the President and Tuembers of the Congress Executive.—United Press.
