British Artillery Post on Western Front

Though comparatively little fighting has taken place in France since the outbreak of the war, British units stationed at various points of the front, are whatever the enemy may hav e in store for the Allies. ment "somewhere along the front" may be seen. The gun is manned 24 hours a day and, as may be seen from the above photograph, it is carefully camouflaged so as not to become visible from the air.
