The efficiency and smartness of the French Fire Brigade. were demonstrated yesterday morning at Koukaza Park where the force passed in review before M. Roland Jde Margerie, - Consul-General for France in Shanghai. The ceremony was attended by many officials of Tie Tnternational "Settlement, and French Concession, Fourteen fire engines took part in the review, which started al 9.15 aim. When some 200 members, Russian and native, fell in, They _were then Inspected by Mf de Margerie and. Captain A. Rovere, _Chilef OMicer of the Brigade. The French Consul-General then inspected fines, While Capt. Rovere explained the tse of new fire appliances.
