The departure of the Palestine Arab delegation for ihe London Conference may be delayed by the consideration that the members of the delegation are giving to conditions imposed by the French Government upon consultation between the Arab representatives and the Mufti, who is in exile at Lebanon.
The restrictions include the stipulation that the Arab leaders will not be allowed to meet the Mufti personally, but will restrict themselves io telephone or letter. The Arabs, however, hold it essential that they be enabled to discuss the composition of the delegation personally with the Mufti.
