New Edition for 1941 Shows Signs of Continued Growth The China Hong List, the invaluable desk companion of the business man and numerous others who would keep in touch with the life of Shanghai and of the outports and interior cities of China, is now off the press. Like its predecessors, the 1941 edition shows signs of continued growth, the information packed within its familiar red covers occupying approximately 1,000 pages, for which Shanghai is responsible for some 680, the listing of firms accounting for an increase of 30 pages. A survey of its contents gives one a good idea of the cosmopolitan character of this trading centre of China, and of the many people of diverse races who contribute to its business activities.
