Prices in the rubber market today opened firm on overnight buying orders and a good demand for phy-sicels. Later, ket tive demand and shorts covering. the close, gains of 9 to 17 points were recorded.
Wheat futures in Chicago today advanced on speculative and mills buying, shorts covering and unfavourable crop reports of Spring wheat. At the final bell, gains of % to 1 cent, were registered.
