Vichy, Feb. 25. aeneo of the members of the new French Cabinet has been completed by Marshal Philippe Petain, the Chief of State, the French Information Office said today.
The new Cabinet will be composed of fifteen Secretaries of State, among whom five will have the rank a; Minister, These five Ministers are: Admiral Francois Darlan, Vice-Premier and concurrently Foreign, Navy and Home Minister, General Leon Huntziger, War Minister, M. Joseph Barthelemy, Minister of Justice, M, Yves Bouthilliler, Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, and M. Pierre Caziot, Minister of Agriculture.
"The conduct of Franco-German relations has been entrusted to M, Benois! Mechain, who assumes the title of Delegate General M. Paw Marion is appointed head of Information with the title of Secretary-General, Both are placed directly under Admiral Francois Darlan, the Vice-Premier.
Among other Secretaries of State, M. Jacques Chevalier exchanges his post of Secretary of State for Education to assume the functions of Secretary of State for Family and Health, while M, Rene Behn is relieved of his post of Secretary of State for Industrial Production, but remains Secretary of State for Labour, M, Pierre Pucheux, an industrialist, &ssumes the post of Secretary of State for Industrial Production, while "M. Jerome Carcopino, a university professor, is appointed Secretary of State for Education and Youth.
Altogether the Government consists of fifteen members, of which five only hold the rank of Ministers. Besides his own departments, each Minister will supervise several Secretaries of State,
