Special uniforms with closed sleeves and leggings were worn and a vaccine given to those most severely exposed. bath shed was erected in the spring and free bathing facilities were offered all summer long. It was a popular bathing resort dnd many hundreds enjoyed its pi leges. To be able to take a private bath in a tub with a bucket of hot water, a sliver of soap and a clean towel was something to anticipate."
