French Phones Normal

Paris, May 8.

Reports from here state that the Franco-Dutch telephones are working normally, while the telephone headquarters in London informed Keuter early this morning that the service from Amsterdam has been suspended since last night, but that calls may still be booked from London to Amsterdam.

False rumours current during the night regarding action in Holland have somewhat abated. It seems that the alarms formed part of the German propaganda campaign so noticeable in the past two days, and operating in various directions.—Reuter.
