Quite a stir was created at the Central Reserve Bank, sponsored by the Nanking Government, at 15 the Bund, at about 9.05 a.m. yesterday when a bank guard accidentally discharged his Mauser pistol into the floor. The shot attracted the attention of all the guards and police on duty at the bank and it was thought that another terroristic act had been committed in the building. This, however, was dispelled when it was found out that the guard had fired the shot accidentally.
