Nagasaki, Aug. 1

Entirely Japanese material and Japanese skill went to the making of this liner which, like her sister craft, is 180 metres over all and has a 225-metre beam, and a 12-metre draft with a maximum speed of 22 knots.
The Yawata Maru has accommodation for 127 first class, 88 second class and 70 third class passengers while her load capacity totals 10,000 tons.
She is due to leave here on August 21 for Vancouver via Yokohama on her maiden voyage—Domet.
